Project “I can rescue life”

Ukrainian Health Fund with the All-Ukrainian public organization “All-Ukrainian resuscitation council and emergency medicine” supported by the Ministry of Health and Kyiv Regional State Administration are carrying project “I can rescue life”. The project starts in schools of Tarashcha and Stavyshche (Kyiv region) between the pupils of the tenth grades.

The aim of the project: to teach pupils to provide emergency medical aid in the cases of circulatory arrest, respiratory [airway] obstruction and bleeding.

Organizers of the Project: All-Ukrainian public organization “Ukrainian Health Fund” and All-Ukrainian public organization “All-Ukrainian resuscitation council and emergency medicine”.

Official support: Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Kyiv Regional State Administration.

Date of the first phase of the Project: November-December 2011.

Expectations of the Project:

- acquisition of knowledge and skills to provide emergency medical aid in the cases of circulatory arrest, respiratory [airway] obstruction and bleeding;

- enjoying and sharing the positive experience in rescuing life, spreading it in others schools of Ukraine with the aim to reduce mortality rate among pupils.
